HUMBLE I.S.D.ELIGIBILITY GRADING CALENDAR

 

First Grading Period:

Friday             Sept. 30     End of 1st six weeks – CHECK GRADES

Friday             Oct. 7       Student who fails any subject becomes ineligible at end of school day        

Friday             Oct. 21      End of 3rd week of grading period – CHECK GRADES

Friday             Oct. 28      Student regains eligibility at end of school day if passing all subjects

 

Second Grading Period:

Friday             Nov. 4             End of 2nd six weeks – CHECK GRADES

Friday             Nov. 11           Regain or lose eligibility

Friday             Nov. 18           * All Students are eligible at end of school day for Thanksgiving Holiday

                                                   (through Saturday, November 26)

Friday             Dec. 2             End of 3rd week of grading period – CHECK GRADES

Friday             Dec. 9             Student regains eligibility at end of school day if passing all subjects

Friday             Dec. 16           End of 3rd six weeks – CHECK GRADES

* All students are eligible at end of school day for Winter Holiday

   (through Saturday, December 31)        

 

Third Grading Period:                                         

Tuesday          Jan. 3             Beginning of 2nd semester (Beginning of grace / wait week)

Tuesday          Jan. 10           Regain or lose eligibility                                                      

Tuesday          Jan. 24           End of 3rd week of grading period – CHECK GRADES

Tuesday          Jan. 31           Student regains eligibility at end of school day if passing all subjects

 

 

Fourth Grading Period:

Friday             Feb. 17           End of 4th six weeks – CHECK GRADES

Friday             Feb. 24           Regain or lose eligibility

Friday             Mar. 9             End of 3rd week grading period – CHECK GRADES

* ALL students are eligible at end of school day for Spring Break

                                                   (through Saturday, March 17)

Monday           Mar. 19           Begin grace / wait week

Monday           Mar. 26          Student regains eligibility at end of school day if passing all subjects

 

 

Fifth Grading Period:

Friday             Apr. 13           End of 5th six weeks                                                                       

Friday             Apr. 20           Regain or lose eligibility (@ )

Friday             May 4             End of 3rd week of grading period – CHECK GRADES

Friday             May 11                        Student regains eligibility at end of school day if passing all subjects

 

Sixth Grading Period:

Students who passed all subjects on the April 13 report will be eligible through end of school year.  Students who failed a subject at the end of the 5th six weeks and did not pass all subjects after the 3 week grade check will remain ineligible until school is out on June 1st.

NOTE:

            ALL students are eligible at the end of the school day on the day prior to the beginning of a holiday which consists of a week or more (Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Spring Break, Summer).  They are eligible through the last eligible day for competition prior to the day classes resume after the holiday.
